Call for Chapters

Christine Coombe, JD Brown, and Betty Lanteigne are co-editing a book geared toward language test users, combining insights from assessment literacy and critical language testing, entitled Issues in Language Testing Around the World: Insights for Language Test Users. They are interested in hearing from language testing researchers willing to contribute a chapter. Please find more details here.

3rd International Conference on Language Testing and Evaluation and the 5th British Council New Directions in Language Assessment Conference:

The call for papers is now open for the 3rd International Conference on Language Testing and Evaluation and the 5th British Council New Directions in Language Assessment Conference: The conference will be held in Shanghai December 2 and 3. The theme of the conference is: Connecting Assessment with Teaching and Learning. The conference is jointly hosted by the National Education Examinations Authority (NEEA) in China and the British Council.

The call for papers is now open for the EALTA 2018 conference in Bochum, Germany with a focus on Technology-based Language Assessment.

EALTA invites proposals to lead one of next year’s Pre-Conference Workshops preceding the 2018 EALTA conference at the TestDaF-Institut, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany. The workshops run from Tuesday 22nd May, 2018 (2pm), Wednesday, 23rd (all day) to Thursday 24th May, 2018 (noon). The conference itself starts with the opening reception on Thursday evening and runs until Sunday 27th May, 2018 (noon).
